Cardiac Physiologist Locum

As an emerging medical recruitment agency in New Zealand, we now have an opportunity available for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist for a short-term locum (3–6 months) opportunity within a hospital setting based in Wellington, New Zealand.

The Opportunity:This is a specialised role requiring confidence and capability in complex device management and/or Electrophysiology (EP). You’ll be working as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary cardiology team delivering high-quality care to patients in a well-equipped environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently perform device checks and support device clinics.

• Assist with Electrophysiology studies and related procedures.Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other allied health staff.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to ongoing service development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Cardiac Physiologist with current registration (or eligibility) in New Zealand.

• Proven experience in device clinics and/or EP procedures.

• Able to work autonomously and within a team environment.

• Excellent interpersonal and clinical communication skills.
