General Practitioner

We are a leading medical recruitment agency across Australia and New Zealand, and our newest opportunity available is for a General Practitioner to be based in Bunbury.

The client

Our client is a well-established, multi-site private practice group that has been serving the Greater Bunbury community for over two decades. Known for its warm, family-centred approach, they operate three modern clinics equipped with advanced diagnostic facilities, fully digital systems, treatment rooms, and on-site allied health. The group is highly regarded for continuity of care, strong clinical leadership, and its collaborative environment where GPs, nurses, and allied professionals work closely to deliver quality primary healthcare.

The opportunity

You will join a supportive and reputable practice group that offers autonomy in your clinical approach while benefiting from full administrative, nursing, and operational support. The clinics have consistently high patient demand, ensuring full books from day one, and offer opportunities to develop special interests such as skin cancer, women’s health, men’s health, chronic disease management, or minor procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality primary care consultations to a diverse patient base

• Manage acute, chronic, and preventative health needs

• Contribute to care plans, health assessments, and ongoing patient reviews

• Perform minor procedures (if within scope)

• Work collaboratively with practice nurses, admin staff, and allied health

• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records

• Participate in clinical meetings and quality improvement initiatives

• Support the practice’s commitment to community-focused healthcare

Requirements

• AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner (or eligibility to obtain)

• FRACGP or equivalent highly desirable

• Experience in Australian primary care preferred

• Strong communication and patient-centred care approach

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• Interest in any subspecialty area welcomed
