Hand Therapist

As an emerging medical recruitment agency growing across Australia and New Zealand, we now have an opportunity available for a Hand Therapist to be based in various locations across New Zealand.

The Opportunity  

This is a rewarding opportunity for a Hand Therapist to take on a pivotal clinical role within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll work with a variety of clients, providing rehabilitation for hand and upper limb injuries. With autonomy in your caseload, structured support, and access to development resources, this is an ideal environment for a clinician who thrives in a patient-centred and progressive setting.  

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat hand and upper limb injuries

• Develop personalised rehabilitation and splinting plans

• Maintain accurate clinical notes and manage documentation

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders

• Contribute to case reviews and ongoing service improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist

• Current Annual Practising Certificate

• Member of HTNZ, PBNZ, or OTNZ

• Proven experience in hand therapy or upper limb rehabilitation

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
