The Opportunity
This is a rewarding opportunity for a Hand Therapist to take on a pivotal clinical role within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll work with a variety of clients, providing rehabilitation for hand and upper limb injuries. With autonomy in your caseload, structured support, and access to development resources, this is an ideal environment for a clinician who thrives in a patient-centred and progressive setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat hand and upper limb injuries
Develop personalised rehabilitation and splinting plans
Maintain accurate clinical notes and manage documentation
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Contribute to case reviews and ongoing service improvement initiatives
Requirements
Registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist
Current Annual Practising Certificate
Member of HTNZ, PBNZ, or OTNZ
Proven experience in hand therapy or upper limb rehabilitation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
