As an emerging medical recruitment agency growing across Australia and New Zealand, we now have an opportunity available for a Senior Neuro Physiotherapist to be based in Auckland, New Zealand.
The Client
Our client is a respected national healthcare provider known for its work across rehabilitation, community health, and allied services. With a strong reputation in neurological rehabilitation, they support both clients and clinicians through structured career development, collaborative team culture, and innovative service delivery models.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a Senior Physiotherapist who enjoys working with clients facing neurological challenges such as stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s, or multiple sclerosis. You’ll play a lead clinical role within a diverse caseload and work alongside a multidisciplinary team, contributing to treatment planning, mentoring, and service development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinician ready to step into a leadership-in-practice space.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalised neurological rehabilitation programs in community and clinic settings
Provide clinical mentoring and support to junior staff and students
Contribute to multidisciplinary case planning and service quality initiatives
Maintain detailed treatment plans, reports, and documentation
Work closely with clients and families to ensure effective rehab outcomes
Requirements
Current registration with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board
Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
Proven experience in neuro rehab (minimum 4 years preferred)
Strong organisational and communication skills
New Zealand Driver’s Licence for outreach and community visits
Confidence working with clients with complex or long-term conditions
